Parents, this month’s virtue is INDIVIDUALITY - discovering who you are meant to be so you can make a difference.
You should have received a card last Sunday when you picked up your child from Life Group for a super secret project for YOU to work on this month.
If you did not, get one in the Soul Summit room this Sunday morning when you drop your child off. Please read the back of the card and work on this special project all through the month of October.
Your child is an amazing gift from God to you – who is discovering who he or she is meant to be to make a difference for God!
Because of Jesus,
The Soul Summit Team
August 16 is Promotion Sunday
On August 16, we will promote our children to the next grade. For those 4-year-olds entering pre-Kindergarden, we will have Bible presentations for them to receive their very own Bible at the beginning of Soul Summit — right after the opening song! We’d love to have all their parents there to see and take pictures of their kids. You’ll be free to go afterward to Life Groups, worship, or hang out with us to see what Soul Summit is all about!
We love all our kids and want them to have God’s Word in their hands. We also want them to bring it back with them every Sunday to learn the habit of bringing their Bible to church!!
We’re Glad You’re Here!
We’re so glad you’ve decided to visit our blog! If you are visiting our church and have children ages 4 years old through 4th grade, bring them to Soul Summit!
Post Your Stories
For the month of January in Soul Summit, we studied the virtue of Resourcefulness. Our application tool was duct tape, and for every story you told us about your resourcefulness, we set aside 2 inches of it. We told you that if we got enough tape from your stories, we’d tape Mr. Phil to the wall at the end of this month. So, did you hear what happened???
Parents are welcome to worship with us, too!
Children are the focus of our ministry. We have dedicated our time and energies to teaching them about God and the saving knowledge of His Son, Jesus Christ.
We meet every Sunday of the month in the Soul Summit clubhouse at 9:00AM (except for holidays and the fifth week for months that have 5 Sundays).
